A week of NSV’s

This has been a pretty good week for my ego. Case and point:
Tuesday I walked into work and the General Manager of my TV station, (an older gentleman) stopped and said to me, “You look like a runway model, straight from Paris.” I told him thank you and that he made my day! He said it was due to a combo of my big black sunglasses, and my mid thigh length bright red peacoat. It belts at the waist and is pretty fabulous! I love it! As well as the cup of starbucks in my hand. That’s a good way to start your morning!

Wednesday night I was talking to my best guy friend on the phone. I have known him for 6 years, well before I’ve lost 150 pounds. And he is going to Puerto Rico next week. I told him I wanted to go too and he said “you’re skinny now, I’ll just put you in my bag!” In my previous life, no one would have ever called me skinny! Yeah baby!

Tonight, my friend and I went to the First Friday Art gallery walks. Our co worker and her sister make jewelry, and we went to their show. She hasn’t seen me in about 2 months. She hugged me and told me to quit losing weight and to eat something. I laughed and told her I do eat.

All in all, its been a decent week!
