1. My left thumb is shorter than my right one. Just the top part of the knuckle. Its weird. I was just born that way.

2. I don’t like the sound low quality cotton makes when you rub it between your fingers. It hurts my ears and feels funny at the same time.

3. I used to bite my nails all the time, my mom tried everything from bribery to bad tasting polish to get me to stop. Ultimately, I quit when I got Lumineers on my upper front 6 teeth. They changed the way it felt to bite my nails so I quit, cold turkey.

4. I’ve been best friends with my BFF Virginia since we were 5 years old. That’s nearly 25 years now!

5. I sleep with an eye mask and ear plugs everynight. It started when I used to work the morning show (3:30am-noon) and went to bed at 6pm. Now, I still use them because I sleep better and don’t watch the clock.

6. I have Biscupid Aortic Valve, which means instead of 3 leaflets on my aortic valve, I was born with just 2. So when I’m 45-50  years old I will have to have my valve replaced. Its a little scary. Its also why I run, to delay that surgery as long as possible.

7. At 29 years old I am just now having one of my wisdom teeth come in. It is extremely painful. My dentist says I “have a large enough mouth to accomodate them.” Thanks dude.

8. I have always loved writing. When I was a kid, my friends and I made our own newspaper, “The Neighborhood Gazette”. It was fun!

9. I love wearing dresses and skirts. I would wear them everyday if I could. They are cute and comfortable!

10. I spent my 18th Birthday in Ireland. My brother was in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln marching band, and they went to march in the St. Patrick’s Day parade there. My parents and I decided to go on the trip too, and since my birthday is March 16th, we were there for that as well!
