One of my former interns facebooked me a few weeks ago and asked me if she could interview me for a class that she is taking. Their subject? Interview someone and write a newspaper article about them and their hobby. She was here this past summer when I started training for the Chicago Marathon, so she understood my love of running.
You guys. This was so much fun!
I’ve told you before that I have this blog because I know how annoying it is when I talk about running to my friends and co-workers IRL. They don’t care and they get irritated with my love of running. But this? This was great! She wanted to know why I started running, what keeps me running, why I chose to run a Marathon. Things like that. Time flew by. We talked about running for about 45 minutes. It was good stuff.
My heart is happy.
