Today marked my one year anniversary of quitting pop-cold turkey. I haven’t missed it much, despite it being quite difficult at first.
I tend to do better when I arbitrarily decide to make a change and go for it. I never thought I’d quit drinking pop, but then one day I realized how much it bothered me during a training run. So I quit, and that was that.
I did the same thing when I started eating better and working out. One day I just decided that I was done living the way I had been. And I changed.
Simple as that.
Strange how things work out, isn’t it?
