- Success! I went back to weight-lifting class last night! It was kind rough–I’m not gonna lie. It was also very good to note that, despite being away from it for about 6 weeks, I haven’t lost all of my weight training fitness. Small victories!
- However, it did make my easy 3 miles this morning a little rough. My legs were a little tired from all the weighted squats, side lunges and weighted calf raises.
- Mornings are hard. Especially when it is still dark outside when you wake up. I need sunshine.
- I have no real plans this weekend, except for my regularly scheduled runs. And I’m so. freakin’. excited. Seriously. I need a quiet weekend.
- That said, it’s supposed to be 55 degrees here again this weekend. So all the miles will (hopefully) be run outside!
- We are looking to hire an administrative assistant at my work. We are severely understaffed and desperately need someone. Today we have the first 3 pre-interview meetings. I’ve only gotten to be on this side of the interview process once before, when I was still at the TV Station. I must say that I like it much better than being the one wanting the job!
