I tried this dress on yesterday and did not buy it. The fact that it was white wss pretty much the only reason. It was $35 and fits like a dream. The questions are: should I go back and get it? Where will I wear it? Work? And is dyeing it hard or expensive??

5 things that make me happy…
1. The flowers and trees that are booming everywhere here. As well as the smell of freshly cut grass. Those smells define spring in my childhood.
2. Going to bed on Friday night knowing I don’t have to set an alarm and get up early the next day.
3. Puppy snuggles and cuddles.
4. That amazing feeling of paying off a bill you’ve been working on for awhile. Student loans? Paid off in 2015. Credit cards? Took care of that last week. Feels good.
5. Talking to my besties on the phone for hours. 2017 marks 30 years of being bffs. I’m so lucky. Love those girls!

Friday Five
1. I’m outta here at 3pm today because I work ahead on Sunday evenings for an hour each week. Totally and completely worth it.
2. Tomorrow is JAM-PACKED: Bridal shower in the morning, followed by a haircut, then a paint and wine event with those same girls and then dinner that night with others. I’m exhausted just thinking about it. So that means my long run will be on Sunday after church. I hate doing that to myself but it looks like that’s my only choice.
3. I have been with the state of Nebraska for 5 months as of yesterday. I have earned nearly 4 days of vacation so far, and I will use my first one in a few weeks. I’m so excited!
4. I paid off my credit card on Monday!!! I am officially credit card debt free! I paid off my Student Loans in March of 2015 and started chipping away on my credit card after that. This means I only have my car loan and a little bit left on a personal loan to pay off!! Adulting FTW!!
5. I’ve been doing the 100 pushups a day with y’all. YOU GUYS. My arms are looking pretty awesome already. They used to keep waving goodbye after I stopped, but now? They’re firming up!! As soon as the marathon is over I’m going to hit the iron hard with @clevcrew

NBD, just laying on the floor at work, doing carpet angels. Nothing to see here…
25mph wind gusts mixed with 60°, sunshine, and blue skies made for a decent run today. I’m hoping this is a sign of things to come in my running life. It hasn’t been the best lately…The struggle has been VERY real.
I’m going to scrounge up some dinner…have a good hump day friends!
