Today has been a pretty great Monday. And then this gem was in my mailbox, courtesy of the amazing getittogetherg!

Lady, you spoil me! Thank you so much friend!! I have been wanting to start journaling again…Or even attempting to write my novel! This is perfect. Love it, and love you!

This weekend has proven to me that the chance I took 4 years ago to start this little blog was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Some of my favorite people in the world live in my computer. Thanks for being one of them!

Note to self: ALWAYS wear a tutu for a race! I’ve never gotten so many comments from people while I was running. It was great!

This was such a great time! It was hot, sunny, and I didn’t PR, but I ran a 2:35:56 Half Marathon and I’m not mad about it.

two-o-nine Andrew, and runningfortheriesling have been wonderful houseguests! I wish my friends lived closer!!

Lunch today with lindsaydoeslife xfitlibrarian funhappylife2 lifekicksback victoriafindslife was pretty awesome! I love these people!

I’m going to go die now

Picture-perfect patio lunch with my co-workers and boss.

So that means I of course ran into TWO guys I’ve dated in the past at the restaurant we were dining at!

I think I need to move. Lincoln is just too small. And I’ve dated too many guys!

(Since I work on a college campus, my co-worker told me that “this isn’t the dining hall. You shouldn’t run into SEVERAL dudes you’ve made out with when you go eat lunch!)

Yay me?!

Well, that’s no good.

The Lincoln Marathon sends out info emails to all participants in the weeks before the race. This gem just popped into my inbox. Please don’t freak out two-o-nine and runningfortheriesling! We’ll be fine! In 2012 it thunderstormed until right before the race, then the skies cleared and the humidity shot through the roof. I still managed to PR my time that year! Positive thoughts!!!

The email says it will be in the upper 50′s at the start of the race at 7am, and the mid to upper 70′s by noon. (we should be long done by that point!) It gives hydration pointers and tells you flat out not to wear pants, sweatsuits, or long sleeves.

So…I’m thinking we get some Froyo Friday night AND post-race on Sunday?!??!?!

Pray for us friends. Brooke and Sam may never want to come back to Nebraska to visit me again if this race goes wrong!
