Thursday Things
- Jillian Michaels hates my legs. That is the only explanation for the amount of squats and lunges she is making me do in the 30 Day Shred. Standing up and sitting down are currently quite comical.
- On the other hand, I’m kinda digging my legs currently. They’re strong (and getting stronger!) and I feel like I am in a good place.
- So…Advocare Spark. Does anybody use this? Do you like it? Benefits/problems with it? Tell me more. My former Massage Therapist is a distributor and wants me to try it. She gave me these samples last night and I tried the orange one this morning. I feel more awake…but otherwise I’m not sure what to think. She thinks I should do the 24 day Challenge. Thoughts?
- I went to dinner the other night with my girlfriends from The Corky Canvas. (Remember when I was a bartender there for about a year?) Well, one of my friends was telling us that she and her husband unplug EVERYTHING that is non-essential when they’re not using it. The result? Their electric bills have been $14. Yep, you read that right: $14 bucks. For a house! I thought that unplugging thing only saved you pennies! My roomie and I are totally on board. Even though our bill is only $37…$20 is $20!
- After I go home from work on Friday I won’t be back in the office until May 27th! That seems like forever, and yet not that long either.
- Good News! The restoration guys FINALLY took the dehumidifiers and fans out of the basement! So I’m hoping that means we’ll get carpet soon and things can be moved out of the living room and life can go back to normal soon. The Great Flood of Last Week needs to be over and done with. I can’t handle the mess that is my house.
