That massage did a number on me, and not in a good way. I’m incredibly sick to my stomach, a little dizzy, and light-headed. It’s been nearly 2 hours and I’m still feeling horrible. I just took an anti-nausea pill that I have for my migraine rescue medicine. It’s pretty much a guarantee to put me to sleep so no run tonight.

On the plus side? My muscles feel awesome! I just feel like death.

Today was a pretty stellar day for Melissa. Picture for stilldavidsgoals.

1. There were the incidents at Target. Being whistled at and told I was beautiful was fantastic. Made my whole day!

2. Then I went to karaoke with my friends and these two guys were hitting on me, one kept telling me we needed to sing a song together and would wink at me. The other told me to smile, that I was too beautiful not to be smiling! When they left, the first one said, “you have a great night, beautiful lady.”

3. Then, these friends of a friend wanted their picture taken with me because, as the one very good looking, but sadly very odd guy said, I was “a hot and beautiful girl.”

What is my life? I seriously did not really make an effort today! This picture is what they saw! I don’t even know.

(The very odd guy told me, when I asked what he did for a living, said he didn’t work, but did energy healings with crystals. And that money always “found him.” Um, no thanks. You sound like a freeloader!)

But seriously! If it was compliment Melissa day, I’m a fan!

Is my life a movie now?

As I was walking into Target a very attractive man wolf whistled at me from his car (he was stopped, waiting for me to cross in front of him).

Not even 5 minutes after that, as I was looking at greeting cards, ANOTHER man kept looking at me, then when I went into the next aisle, he walked up to me (I was the only one in the aisle) and said, “you are so beautiful.”

I managed to stammer out a “thank you” and I blushed and smiled at him.

And because my life ISN’T a movie, he didn’t say anything else, and we turned and went our separate ways.

Hey. Either way, I’ve still got it! 😉
