Sent home sick from work with a terrible sore throat, congestion, cough, and sneezing. I HATE being sick.

What a change from the Ocho when they would tell you to suck it up and work when you had a head cold…or sinus infection. It seems working for the department of health and human services means they are much more sympathetic to illness! (Also, having more sick time to use is pretty great too.) My coworkers were quite sure I have strep because it felt like knives in my throat this morning….I’m thinking it’s just a cold or sinus infection.

I’m loaded up on Mucinex and throat spray and snuggled into bed. The dog keeps wandering in to check on me…and occasionally cuddle with me!

I foresee a nap in my future….
