My Type

Katie asked if I had ever taken the Myers Briggs personality test. I hadn’t, so I googled it. I took a shortened (free) version a little bit ago. This was my result:

ESFJ

Extraverted Sensing Feeling Judging

Or “The Caregiver”

That’s me, in a nutshell. I got the “mother hen” award at camp when I was a kid. I’ve always been the one to take care of people, and worry about others.

Some of the personality traits are spot-on and a little freaky. For example:

ESFJs are people persons – they love people. They are warmly interested in others. They use their Sensing and Judging characteristics to gather specific, detailed information about others, and turn this information into supportive judgments. They want to like people, and have a special skill at bringing out the best in others. They are extremely good at reading others, and understanding their point of view. The ESFJ’s strong desire to be liked and for everything to be pleasant makes them highly supportive of others.

Total people person-for the most part! (I still need some me time too!) But I do love gathering specific, detailed information about people. I’ve always chalked it up to the journalist in me. I’ve often been told that I’m good at reading people too. And yes, I want to be liked! Don’t we all?

A little more detailed description can be found here, if you care.

Interesting things for a Monday afternoon!

thatsminethankyou said: I feel the same way often. I just need time to recharge and everything is a little bit rosier when I’m able to do that.

katiegirlchasesinfinity said: I totally do this too! Do you know what your Myers Briggs type is?

Welp. I’m not alone in this FOMO issue! Good to know.

Katie-I have never actually taken the Myers-Briggs test! Can you do it for free online? I would love to know my type!

A few things…

Bob-She’s so awesome, I could never be enemies with her! We just don’t talk news a lot. We talk about work, but not the news. Make sense?

Thanks Melissa! I’m pretty proud of them! 🙂

Thanks Katie! It has been so hard to do these every day, but totally worth in the end!

davidsgoals said: wait, were there pictires of the ladies butts hanging out of their skirts? If so, I need to offer an impartial opinion on this.

Yes David, there were several butts hanging out in front of me! And it was when I was not able to pass (too tired, needed to walk). Next year, come Run Omaha with me and you get perhaps get a peek at all the tushies like I did. 🙂

fit-food-fam said: in for peek-a-boo butts lol. Great job! 😀

Lol! Right? Thank you!

rachaelfightsback said: I hate having to pay for parking at a race! Great job though! You looked awesome in the pics you posted.

Rachael, I agree! I just don’t think it’s fair to charge for the race AND parking. I think they should let you park wherever on race day. And thank you so much!! 🙂

Victoria, exactly! I ran into the ballpark and said aloud “are you freakin’ kidding me?! Jerks. Everyone around me laughed. I walked around the ballpark. I just didn’t have much left. All the extras were nice, and the shade was great! That sun was warm!
