So…yeah…

I thought I could sneak that in there! You guys don’t miss a thing, do you??

So remember the man friend I told you about earlier this month? Well, things are good. Really good. I’m talking relationship/boyfriend/girlfriend-kind of good here. It just kind of happened. I’m incredibly happy about it too. He introduced me as his girlfriend to a couple of people and while that word would normally send me spiraling into freak out and run away mode, but this time was different. It felt good, felt right. We talked about it later and agreed that yes, we’re in a relationship, I’m his girlfriend, and he’s my boyfriend. And instead of being totally freaked out, I’m good with it. Progress, people! 🙂

I don’t know what the future holds, but right now, I’m happy. It’s not hard. I’m not stressed out about him or texts or things like that. It’s easy with him. And I think that’s how it should be. 🙂

Also, Brooke-I will send you so many pictures! You probably need your own wand too, right??!! You know I will drink a butterbeer for you!

A little perspective for me!

tararrific said: I need to move to Lincoln. That is SO CHEAP?!?!

melanietris said: So what you’re saying is it’s okay to have a Menage à Trois in Lincoln, but not an orgy, right?

shrinkingmomma said: I pay more in a week to have my kids in day care than you will be spending for housing and utilities. My cable/internet/phone bill is almost as much as you will be paying in rent. Nope, not jealous at all. And, yes the bathroom is totally worth the $100.

malloryrunsthis said: Your rent makes me want to cry. In a totally jealous way.

alliegets said: Holy crap, that’s so cheap

It’s funny how I think my rent and bills are so expensive and ya’ll think it’s cheap! Made me think about how I need to count my blessings in that way. Living in Lincoln isn’t too bad–but since I get paid peanuts that makes it more of a problem. Hence the part time job! 🙂

And Melanie- Threesomes but no Orgies, that sounds about right! Fun fact: when roomie who is moving out’s boyfriend would stay the night there were be 5 of us in the house! It was too much. When I was dating manfriend, he never wanted to hang out at my place because it was so crowded–I totally get that. There was no privacy. This will be better!

Melanie- Yes, yes we do. We were figuring out schedules, and since the one roomie and I are both TV people we have to work Thanksgiving and the day after, and then have family stuff so it would be awhile before we could decorate. So we decided to do it last night.

Also, it snowed for the first time here last night! There is something so beautiful and peaceful about the first snow of the season. So the tree is up as are the rest of the decorations. It’s a little early…but at least its done!

I have trouble falling asleep too.
I’m glad I’m not alone Stef, but it sucks doesn’t it?!!

Why does he call you? Why doesn’t he just call roomie directly?
He did call her, but her phone was on silent. They know mine isn’t because I’m the Senior Producer (and management). Also my boss is on vacation, so I’m in charge!

Have you had a sleep study done?
I haven’t, I should look into that. But I think I wouldn’t sleep there either, because I have an even harder time falling asleep in a bed that’s not mine.
