This day is perfect. I can handle this. Let’s just put it on repeat please.

This is the life. Sunshine, shades, and 83° here in Phoenix. It’s 52° back in Nebraska.I think I can handle this. Why do I have to sit inside for meetings?? I should be soaking up the sun!!

Spending a perfect sunny Saturday working on my tan! The weatherman called for rain and we’ve got wall to wall sunshine! I love when they’re wrong! And don’t worry, I’m wearing spf 50 and I’m going in soon. Got the pool up and filling, now I’m relaxing! Happy weekend friends!

I could kick myself

I got up at 6am, totally planning on a 4-5 mile run. The sun was shining, the weather a perfect 58 degrees, so what did I do? I didn’t go run, that’s for sure!

BAH!

I could really kick myself. I appear to have developed some allergies and couldn’t breath/sleep last night so I took a benedryl. Then this morning I was too tired and couldn’t manage running because I couldn’t wake up, thanks to the benedryl.

So, I am taking a deep breath, knowing that it’s okay. It’s fine to take a day off, since I ran 3 miles yesterday, and still have the entire rest of the week that I plan on running.

Remind me to tell that to my inner running-obsessed girl. She needs to hear it!

Sunshine!

Reason #16484 why I love summer (or nearly summertime!): The sun comes up at 5:55am and doesn’t set until 9:00pm! It is so much easier to get out of bed and go for a run (outside!) when the sun is up too. Gotta love it!

My view on this gorgeous afternoon! Perfect afternoon to spend in the pool! Ahhh…bliss!
