Why are we made to feel guilty when we leave work on time, after putting in our full 8 hours?
When did society (and bosses) start seeing working longer and staying late as something that you have to do on a daily basis or you aren’t committed to your job as the person in the next office?
I don’t see it that way. Work is not my life. My job is what I do so that I can have a life. And there’s a big difference between those two things.
Just my two cents.
Edit to add: I’m salaried. I get paid the same if I work 100 hours a week or 5 hours.
