Good morning sunshine!!

I like Saturdays because the bf usually makes me breakfast either before or after I run. He’s a good cook! This morning I brought over my chai tea mix and made that to go with breakfast. Delicious!

The heat and humidity broke last night with torrential rains and thunderstorms. This morning it’s in the 60s and feels fantastic. I’m going to head out for a run here soon.

We have a going away party tonight, and I’m watching my roomies dog for 5 days. He’s currently playing with the bf’s dogs, which we hope tires them out.

It feels like fall here, and that’s pretty cool. I hope you all have a great weekend!!

Sunday-Run Day!

10 slow miles. 70Β° and sunny. A gorgeous day. However, The wind was soul-crushing. But once I got to have it at my back? That was fantastic!

That “Eat Breakfast” sign is at a local Elementary School on my route. I dig it. Breakfast is the best. Fan for life.
Also, my phone just corrected “breakfast” in that last sentence to “breasts”. My phone must be a boy.

Its been a pretty great weekend. Days off are awesome. And spending them doing fun things? Even better.

One week until my birthday! Eeek!

Happy Sunday friends!

Today was a pretty great day! 5k run at 7am (on a Saturday! gasp!) farmer’s market, lunch with my mom, shopping, and a massage! I had some NSV’s too! I tried on (and fit into!) a pair of size 8 jeans! Yeah baby! I didn’t buy them, they were 80 bucks! But knowing I can wear them did wonders for my self esteem!

My mom and I made a day out of it, by shopping and hanging out.

I bought some new Husker gear, (season starts next week!! Go Big Red!!)

Then we went and got Mani/Pedi’s–my toes are red with white ‘N’s on them–for the Huskers! Die hard fan here people!Β  πŸ™‚ BTW- the OPI name for the color red that I randomly chose? “The Thrill of Brazil”. I swear to you I did not choose that because of The Man From Brazil. It just happened! Honest.

I’ve had a pretty great Saturday, hoping the rest of the weekend is much of the same!

On the other hand, I worry for my friends on the East Coast! Stay safe!!
